Plot

After complaining that they are exhausted from a heavy work-load, they awake in their hotel room to find their manager has taken off without them. After seeing themselves performing live on TV the next day, the band are left confused, and travel to Los Angeles to track down their imposters. They later discover that an evil scientist has been cloning celebrities – including S Club, and they must race against time to stop him.

Other Facts

● The movie was filmed within just 3 weeks, in both Barcelona Spain and Los Angeles, due to S Club having a busy schedule at the time. Shortly after filming ended, S Club went straight into rehearsals for their S Club United Arena Tour with S Club Juniors

● During the time of filming, Jo was suffering from a back injury and was in a lot of pain.. she had to use a body double for the physical scenes, such as the scene where S Club are running through the maze, and this is also why Jo doesn’t appear in any of the big dance performances in the movie (Don’t Stop Movin’ , Dance, Who Do You Think You Are )

● The movie has the same title as their 4th and final album, and some of the albums tracks are featured in the movie

● Pop Idol contestant, Gareth Gates has a cameo role in the movie

Other Movie Features

Jo and the rest of S Club 7 have a small cameo role in the movie, “The Greatest Store in the World” which was released in 1999.

The track, “Every Kinda People” taken from S Club’s Seeing Double album, featuring vocals from Jo only, was used on the soundtrack for the film, The Guru which was released in 2002. This song was planned to be Jo’s first solo single, and a music video was filmed but never released. The song is played during the end credits of the film
