Jo started out her music career back in 1998 as the lead singer of rap-hip-hop group 2-4 Family. However, after just one single, Jo left the band after she gained a place in British pop band, S Club 7 which launched her career after the band rose to fame in 1999, becoming one of the biggest pop bands of the 90’s/2000’s, with 4 hit albums, numerous hit singles, a successful TV series, arena tours and a movie. In 2002, band member Paul Cattermole left the band, but they continued as a 6- piece under the name S Club, until they all went their separate ways in 2003. Jo launched her solo music career in 2005, with her first debut solo album Relentless. In 2008, Jo started performing as part of S Club 3 with her two S Club band members, Bradley Mcintosh and Paul Cattermole, until all seven members of S Club 7 got back together in 2014 for a one-off performance for BBC’s Children in Need before announcing a reunion arena tour for 2015. Following their reunion, Jo continued performing as part of S Club 3 with Bradley, but this time with Tina replacing Paul after he decided not to continue in the band. S Club 3 released a brand new single, “Family” in December 2017, with proceeds going towards the Rainbow Trust Childrens Charity.  In 2020, Jo announced that she was recording her second solo album, 15 years after the release of her first solo album Relentless. The new album is expected in early 2021, followed by a solo tour
